Abstract

|
Korea has to submit Treaty-Specific Document under Article 35, Paragraph 1, of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities by year’s end. Despite it has the property of social rights, Article 9 of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities is classed as civil rights. States party can’t report the progressive realization of rights classed as civil rights because the rights must be realized immediately in principle. The current research examines articles of domestic laws about the rights to accessibility of people with disabilities. Framework for this study is based on Guidelines on Treaty-Specific Document to be Submitted by States Parties under Article 35, Paragraph 1, of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
